Key Requirements
- 5+ years in senior finance leadership at C-level (CFO / Deputy CFO / Head of Finance or equivalent)
- Proven experience leading the finance function in an international, multi-entity environment
- Leadership of finance/accounting teams (4+ people), including complex hiring/performance decisions
- Ownership of financial strategy: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management (beyond accounting)
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach; strong partnership with the CEO and cross-functional leaders
- Governance & compliance: internal controls/policies, regulatory compliance, audit readiness; IFRS + taxation
- Building and scaling finance systems and teams, including building the finance function from scratch; process automation
- Risk ownership/management: FX exposure, tax planning, operational financial risks
- Support for business scaling: international expansion, funding preparation, structural optimization; proven business results
- Languages: fluent-level English and Russian/Ukrainian.
- Willingness to work on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop OMNIC’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth plans
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, providing financial insights to support key operational and investment decisions
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across multiple regions
- Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting, including consolidation across international entities
- Establish and maintain financial governance, controls, and compliance with local and international regulations
- Manage financial risk, including currency, tax, and operational exposure
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting function, setting clear standards, roles, and performance expectations
- Drive automation and improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks
- Support long-term initiatives such as international expansion, funding preparation, and structural optimization
Scope of Ownership
The CFO has clear ownership over:
- Financial strategy and financial governance
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
- Financial reporting and compliance
- Risk management and internal controls
Development of scalable financial systems and processes The CFO works in close partnership with the CEO and collaborates with Operations, Product, and Commercial leaders, with clearly defined decision rights and accountability.
